Ralph Macchio told Uproxx that there are three new angles of the famous crane kick
Chronology
Decades after their 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament match, middle-aged Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence find themselves back as martial arts rivals. The crew behind Cobra Kai searched through the studio’s vaults and found a ton of never-before-seen clips, which they were able to introduce into the series via flashbacks. One of them includes Zabka’s real-life mother in the stands from various angles that hadn’t been seen until 2018. Many believe that Miyagi’s name on his headstone is a recurring error, as in Karate Kid 4 (1994) his name is listed as Keisuke, but it was actually shown on a sign held by Chozen in Karate Kid 2 (1986) to be Nariyoshi.
This means that The Next Karate Kid changed his name, while Cobra Kai kept his original name
However, another interesting fact is that the name given in The Karate Kid Part II is not his original given name. Miyagi. In The Karate Kid (1984), Miyagi’s first name is briefly seen as Hideo on Miyagi’s dog tag attached to the keys to the 1948 Ford that Daniel was given for his birthday. The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: Anthony Mackie/Ralph Macchio/Kiry Shabazz (2018) I didn’t have many expectations going into this show, or at least, I didn’t have high expectations.

What I did have was a fun low-budget romp down memory lane. But this is so much more than that. The production values are great, the casting is great, the plot, the writing, the tone, the pacing, the soundtrack. It’s a good start to the end and has what Mr.
If you haven’t, you’ll really enjoy it anyway
It seems to hit a lot of the right notes without overdoing it, the humor is just right, the emotional moments are just right, the cheesy, the action is just right. It doesn’t have to be black and white like the movies, so it does a great job of letting the audience decide who the real heroes and villains are. If you’ve seen the movies, you’ll really enjoy this. It stands on its own and feels modern, but as a sequel, 30 years later, it does this brilliantly and very respectfully without being too dependent on its past and its source material.
